Tubulin inhibitor 21 (compound 6f), a chalcone- and melatonin- based hybrid, is a potent tubulin inhibitor. Tubulin inhibitor 21 induces a remarkable cytotoxic activity toward SW480 cells (IC50=0.26 μM) with lower effect against nonmalignant cells[1].
