端霉素是1958年从链霉菌中分离得到的含3-羟基脯氨酸的肽类抗生素。该抗生素的结构类似于LL-AO341β1。端霉素有效抑制革兰氏阳性菌，对革兰氏阴性菌几乎没有影响。
Telomycin is a 3-hydroxyproline-containing peptide antibiotic isolated from|Streptomyces|in 1958. The antibiotic structurally resembles LL-AO341 β 1. Telomycin potently inhibits gram-postive bacteria, with little or no effect on gram-negative bacteria.
