Description
Chloramphenicol is a synthetic antibiotic, isolated from strains ofStreptomyces venezuelae.It is often used for bacterial selection in molecular biology applications at 10-20 μg/mL and as a selection agent for transformed cells containing chloramphenicol reistance genes.
Preparation instructions
This product is a ready made solution of 100 mg/mL in ethanol:isopropanol (95:5). It is shipped in dry ice and stored at -20°C.
