Reductiomycin is an antibiotic with antitumor, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal activity. Shown to be active against Gram-positive bacteria and the newcastle disease virus. Also research finds reductiomycin to react with nitrosopyridines in a highly efficient regio- and stereoselective fashion.
