CEM114 is an effective chemical epigenetic modifier (CEM) that recruits endogenous chromatin machinery through CRISPR-Cas9 systems[1].

CEM114 (200 nM; 48 hours) treatment significantly activates the Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) signal, suggesting that excess FK506 is able to outcompete CEM114 from the FKBP binding site[1].
