Fluorescein Vancomycin (FITC-Vancomycin) is one of Nanocs fluorescent bioconjugates that can be used to detect gram positive bacteria. Vancomycin is an antibiotic used to treat a number of bacterial infections. FITC vancomycin has excitation/emission wavelength at 495 nm/515 nm. Fluorescein labeled vancomycin can bind to gram positive bacteria and be detected easily by common fluorescent instruments.
