Surface functional agarose beads from Nanocs have uniform size in the range of 50~150 microns. These activated beads have multiple functional groups that can be used to attached various bio-ligands covalently to the bead surface. Covalently linked ligands offer high stability and are suitable for various biomolecule purification, capturing and assay. Description:

Boronic acid functionalized magnetic beads are one of Nanocs' functional magnetic particles that can be used to target and bind to molecules with glucose moiety. Boronic acid has high affinity toward glucose.Binding of boronic acid to glucose residues allows the conjugation of magnetic particles to some polysaccharides, glycoproteins and enzymes. Conjugated magnetic particles thus are able to purify those biomolecules. Nanocs provides various functionalized superparamagnetic particles that can be used for biomolecule separation, imaging and diagnostic application. Our small sized paramagnetic nanoparticles, with diameter in 25~50 nm, are suitable for fluorescent imaging, cellular and biomolecular labeling and magnetic sensing. Because of their small size, this type of magnetic nanoparticles cannot extracted with regular magnets. Our large size magnetic particles, with diameter 250 nm or above, can be exacted with magnets and therefore, can be used for cellular and biomolecule separation.
