Description:

Thiol functional agarose beads from Nanocs are intended to reduce disulfide bonds in biomolecules easily and efficiently. Unlike common disulfide bond reducing reagents, such as DTT, TCEP, our thiol functional agarose beads have free thiol groups covalently linked to the agarose surface and they can reduce disulfide bonds on the bead surface without any separation issue. These activated beads have free sulfhydryl groups that can also be used to attached various bio-ligands covalently to the bead surface. Covalently linked ligands offer high stability and are suitable for various biomolecule purification, capturing and assay. Nanocs surface modified agarose beads provide more choices than any other companies in this field. Customer conjugation and modification is available upon request.

Description:

PEG coated agarose beads from Nanocs were made by covalently attaching polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymers to agarose bead surface. These agarose have uniform size in the range of 50~150 microns. These PEG functionalized agarose beads have low non-specific absorption of proteins on their surface. PEG ligands on the bead surface can also interact with anti-PEG antibodies. Thus these PEG agarose beads can be used to capture and purify PEG antibodies.

High capacity thiol capture,S3^TM Beads are one of Nanocs reactive agarose beads that can be used for reversible immobilization of biomolecules containing free thiol groups. S3^TM thiol capture beads contain reactive pyridyl disulfide bonds that can react easily with free thiol groups under mild conditions. Reaction between thiol and pyridyl disulfide results a reversible dithio bond that can be cleaved by common dithio reducing agents such as DTT or TCEP. Compared to other thiol reactive beads, Nanocs S3^TM Beads have exceptionally high thiol capture capacity; Density of thiol reactive groups on S3 beads is 20-30 times more over conventional thiol activated agarose beads.
