Description:

TCO PEG maleimide is a sulfhydryl reactive, pegylated TCO (transcyclooctene) derivative that can react with tetrazine group. Maleimide reacts with sulfhydryl groups (thiol, -SH) groups at neutral pH efficiently. The reaction of TCO tetrazine is a bioorthogaonal reaction that enables the conjugation of two molecules in aqueous solution fast and efficiently. PEG TCO derivatives have excellent water solubility, possess fast kinetics and stability in aqueous buffer. They are one of the best pegylation reagents to modify proteins, peptides, antibodies, biopolymers and particles via copper free Click Chemistry reaction.

Nanocs Maleimide PEG PFP (Pentafluorophenyl) is a heterobifunctional PEG derivative that can react with both thiol and amine groups. Maleimide reacts with sulfhydryl groups at pH 6.5-7.5 to form stable thiol-ether bond while PFP reacts with amine groups at pH 7-9 to form stable aminde bond. Compared to other amine reactive linkers, PFP has higher reactivity yet with better stability in aqueous buffer. PFP reacts not only with primary amine, but also with secondary amine groups.

Description:

Alkyne functionalized polyethylene glycol (Alk-PEG-X) is a bifunctional PEG derivative that can be used to modify proteins, peptides and other materials via Click Chemistry. Alkyne group can react with azide in aqueous solution catalyzed by copper. PEGylation can increase solubility and stability and reduce immunogenicity of peptides and proteins. It can also suppress the non-specific binding of charged molecules to the modified surfaces.

Physical Properties:

Description:

Maleimide functionalized Dextrans are one of Nanocs' thiol reactive dextran conjugates that can react with free sulfhydryl group (thiol) with high effiency. Maleimide functional Dextrans can react with thiolated antibodies, proteins, peptides or small molecules at pH 6.5-7.5 in aqueous buffer quickly and specifically. Nanocs provides a number of maleimide conjugated dextran products with molecular weight ranging from 3,000 Da to 2,000 kDa. These maleimide functional dextrans were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate bioconjugation applications.

Dextrans are naturally synthesized polysaccharides with good water solubility, low toxicity and varied molecular weights. Dextrans modified with dyes and other biomolecules have been successfully used as long-term tracers for live cells. Nanocs also provides customerized dextran products for your special needs.
